Mark Talbert has been the pastor of FBC Delco since July 2024. He was born in Burlington, NC and has lived most of his life in the Tar Heel state. He is married to his best friend, Kristi, and
has 2 sons, Mark Jr and Matthew, 8 grandchildren and a black Labrador Retriever, Samson (Sam). Mark Jr is married to Mandy and lives in Reidsville, NC. They have 6 children, Abby,
Noah, Hannah, Sarah, Bethany, and Mary. Matthew is married to Jaclyn and lives in Athens, OH. They have 2 children, Davis and Gracie.

 

Mark grew up in a pastor’s home but was not saved
until the age of 31. After he sensed God’s call in his life, he began his education at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his ADiv, BA, MDiv and PhD in Biblical Studies. Mark loves spending time with his family and meeting new people. Mark’s passions are centered around the study and teaching of God’s Word. He has taught Old Testament and Hebrew at 2 different seminaries and is overwhelmed by the amazing fact that God would allow him to stand before men, women, and children and proclaim
